Wildflower folk. Wildflower folk comes from a place of rebellion against the current climate of the world- with fast paced, consumer driven marketplaces taking over from the slower, appreciative side that I seek to live amongst. This is where my passion for this project comes from. I have always been interested in an alternative- a nomadic lifestyle in which consumerism is not valued, but the flowers, birds and trees are. ‘Wildflower folk’ aims to honour this, through sustainable, slower paced processes, that keeps adaptability and cyclical design at is forefront.
This collection is a blend of natural dyes, organic materials, and traditional mending techniques celebrating repair, care, and connection. Each piece is a one-of-a kind story, stitched with love and grounded in the beauty of the handmade. |
